On Saturday, September 14, 2024, Pete Santilli travelled to Springfield, Ohio to investigate the Haitian migrant crisis, particularly the anomalous mortgage transactions and rental properties identified as Haitian immigrant stash houses. Prior to visiting Springfield, Ohio, Santilli conducted open-sourced background investigations on the Springfield City Commissioners. Home addresses and telephone numbers were gathered, as Santilli wanted to conduct interviews with as many as possible during his visit to Springfield.
